Online sales continue to outstrip network revenue growth at Domino’s Enterprises, with online taking over two-thirds of the complete pie in the first half of FY20.
In its results now, the Brisbane-based pizza company reported an 18.8 per cent increase in online sales to $1.11 billion, representing 70 per cent of the $1.58 billion total.
The positive outcomes of the first half have lasted into early 2020 with same-store earnings growth up 6.3 per cent and 11 organic new shops opening up for trading, strengthening network earnings by 10.7 per cent for the year to date.
The average number of shops per franchisee has also improved with the typical franchisee currently operating 2.2 stores. In France, Domino’s opened its 400th store in the first half.
The company also opened its first store in Luxembourg during the period, and its store figures sit 2,607 in nine nations.
